What You Can Learn From CEO’S?
Improve your business by adopting CEO traits
While a CEO of a company may seem very different compared to an Entrepreneur that has a company based out of their home, they are similar in many ways.
1. Commitment
Running the business means that you are solely responsible for your own business and that takes commitment. It means that you are actively involved in searching out sales, developing the products, managing your books, seeking out financing, seeking out networks, managing customer service, etc.
What’s the lesson?
You can still be committed to your job by providing great customer service, actively keeping up your training, doing the job right, seeking out advice and resolving any issues.
2. Lack of fear
A little fear never hurts but if one is constantly scared, the entrepreneur cannot push the envelope to make their business from good to great.
What’s the lesson?
Taking on new challenges within the workplace can reveal many things about you that you may not be aware of. You may even find something that you would never consider before and would allow you to explore new venues and ultimately help your business.
3. Active Team Player
As the business grows, the CEO must continue to inspire his/her team to work together to promote their product.
What’s the lesson?
No single person has all the skills to do a major project. You must be actively working with your co-workers to take full advantage of the skills available in the workplace to provide the best product/ service to the customers.
4. Confidence
If you don’t have confidence in yourself, you may be perceived by the clients as someone who doesn't know what he or she is doing and that could cause you to lose your clients.
What’s the lesson?
A little self pep talk to remind yourself that you know your stuff is often all that’s needed. If you’re feeling a little weak in certain areas, take up some training to resolve these issues. Perhaps you just need to practice speaking in front of large groups. If that’s the case, then seek out a local association who does public speaking. There are many help groups out there to assist you with your weak skills. In addition, having confidence in yourself as well as your team will help boost your team’s confidence as well!
In general, many of the above traits are all about attitude. It’s about consistently applying yourself to do the best job you can not only for the business but also for yourself in life.
